Worm Motor

DVD Drive worm motor. This motor is responsible for moving the laser back and forth. The worm motor performs this task by pulling the laser's gear back and forth along its tracks. This doesn't usually fail unless the wire has become frayed or if you improperly lubricate it ( you should use a TINY bit of white lithium grease if anything. It usually does not need anything though.
