IF YOU HAVE A HITACHI DRIVE IN YOUR XBOX 360, YOU MUST REPLACE IT WITH A HITACHI DRIVE. YOU CANNOT REPLACE A HITACHI WITH A SAMSUNG AND VICE VERSA UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO FLASH THE NEW.  See Below for Installation Notes & Tips

This is a NEW Samsung TS-H943A F/W MS28 drive for the XBOX 360. If For the new drive to read and load xbox 360 games, the circuit board must be transferred from the old drive. Have a drive with MS25 firmware? No problem!!! This will replace it just fine as long as you transfer the circuit board!!! If you're not comfortable with installing this drive, we can do it for you!

INSTALLATION NOTES & TIPS
  • This is a NEW Samsung TS-H943A DVD Drive for the XBox 360.
  • The XBox 360 has a code on the DVD drive that must match the motherboard.
  • The easy way to transfer this code is to transfer the circuit board on the inside.
  • If you transfer the circuit board from the inside of the drive, you will *NOT* need to flash the drive!
  • CLICK HERE for information on installing this drive (and transferring the circuit board from the old drive)
  • You MUST replace a Samsung drive with another Samsung drive for the circuit board transfer to work! 
  • The Hitachi and Philips drives have different circuit boards!
